University of California Irvine Chamber Singers

The UC Irvine Chamber Singers, under Dr. Irene Messoloras, earned second place in the 2024 American Prize in Choral Performance for smaller college/university programs, highlighting their national excellence. Dr. Messoloras praised the dedication of both current and past members for this prestigious recognition. As the flagship ensemble of the Claire Trevor School of the Arts, the 42-member group is known for performances at venues like the Walt Disney Concert Hall and recently toured Ireland. They have released their first commercial recording with Signum Records in 2024.

Dr. Irene Messoloras is an accomplished conductor and music educator, currently serving as the Director of Choral Activities at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). With a passion for musical excellence, she has led choirs in impactful performances across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, earning numerous awards for her work. Dr. Messoloras has held prominent roles at various institutions and continues to inspire through her leadership at UCI.
